Frequently asked questions
- What file formats can I upload?
- TillerWise accepts FIT, GPX, KML, and TCX files exported from GPS devices or other sailing apps.
- How does the Strava integration work?
- When you connect Strava, TillerWise imports your recent sailing-tagged activities automatically. Only activities classified as Sail, Windsurf, or Kitesurf are imported. You can disconnect Strava at any time from the Integrations page.
- Can I delete a session and re-import it later?
- Yes. Deleting a session from TillerWise does not delete it on Strava. The activity will appear as “Dismissed” on the Integrations page, and you can re-import it manually at any time.
- How do I disconnect Strava?
- Go to Integrations and click Disconnect. TillerWise will revoke its access to your Strava account and clear your tokens. You can also revoke access from Strava’s app settings.
- How do I delete my account and data?
- Go to Profile and use the account deletion option. This permanently removes your account, all session data, and revokes any connected integrations. You can also request deletion by emailing lucas@tillerwise.com.
- What data does TillerWise store from Strava?
- TillerWise imports the GPS track, activity metadata (name, date, sport type), and timing data for eligible sailing activities. It does not access your Strava profile photos, social data, or non-sailing activities. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
